He has worked for Fox IT for 15 years and is currently International Client Director. Vernon has delivered consultancy and training to numerous organizations in the public and private sectors and he is recognized globally as an authority within the Service Management industry. Vernon is a lead author for many of the ITIL books including Service Delivery, Service Support and Planning to Implement Service Management. Vernon is also a lead author on the ITIL version 3 Service Design. Vernon sits on the strategic advisory board of the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB), is President elect of the Institute of IT Service Management and is a Fellow of the Institute of IT Service Management. His contribution to Service Management was recognized by the itSMF, when they presented him with the prestigious “Paul Rappaport” lifetime achievement award.
